Welcome to the First Baptist Church of Bennington, Vermont. We are glad that you “surfed the web” and found us! Perhaps you are seeking a church to attend or perhaps you are searching for answers to life and life’s situations. You have come to the right place!
Come and visit us soon. We are located at 601 Main Street in Bennington. Our church services are held weekly on Sundays at 10:30 am. For the months of November-March, please enter the doors in the newer building and go into the Fellowship Hall which is to the left. During April-October, please enter the doors of the Sanctuary with the stained-glass windows and the pipe organ.
You will experience the love of God when you enter this place. No matter where your life’s journey has brought you to today, you are welcome here! We are a small, growing church with a heart.
Our church has been gathering to worship God since April 11, 1827. We are affiliated with the American Baptist Churches USA. Join us, as you are able. You will be greeted by caring people and feel welcome during your visit. Our worship service consists of inspirational, classic hymns with piano or organ. We also include upbeat, Contemporary Christian songs, as well. You will hear stimulating and life-changing messages based on the Bible. Child care is available after the Children’s Moment through the rest of the worship service.
After the church service, you will have the opportunity to mingle and fellowship (having coffee, juice and food) with the people of the church who will welcome you and make you feel right at home!
Please contact us if you have any questions or spiritual needs. Our email is firstname.lastname@example.org. Currently there is no office staff available, but a church volunteer will get back to you as soon as possible. Please call Grace Wilson, Moderator, at 802.379.4548, if you are unable to reach someone in a timely fashion.
Please come and experience the Love of God at the First Baptist Church of Bennington. You will be glad that you did. God Bless You!
