First Baptist welcomes you to our weekly worship at 10:30 AM Sundays. We worship together, singing hymns old and new, listening for the Word, and endeavoring to be a community of faith that cares for one another and those around us, living out the gospel of Jesus Christ, by the power of the Holy Spirit, to the glory of God.

First Baptist is also a leader in community efforts to meet the basic human needs of the greater Bennington area. We work together with organizations, interfaith and non-profit alike, to encourage collaborative efforts and help our neighbors in need. There are two non-profit agencies located in the church: Vermont Center for Independent Living and Family Time (for more information visit Non-profits at FBC).

We love Bennington, and are partners with the local Interfaith Council, the Bennington Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Better Bennington Corporation.
