COVID 19 Virus Update

Dear First Baptist Church Family,

We are writing this letter to you to inform you of some changes at the church over the next few weeks due to the COVID 19 virus that is continuing to spread in our community. We desire to adhere to the requests from health officials to minimize the spread of the virus.

Therefore, the church services scheduled for March 22nd and March 29th have been cancelled. The next service that we are planning to hold, barring any further changes, will be held on Palm Sunday, April 5th at 10:30 am in the Sanctuary.

The Cabin Fever Event has been postponed and will be held at some future date. The monthly Benefit Breakfast that had been scheduled for the 28th of March 28th has been cancelled. Hopefully, we will be able to hold the Breakfast in April! We will keep you posted.

In regards to Easter Sunday, April 12th, we are planning to have our Easter Celebration at 10:30 am in the Sanctuary with organ, trumpet, and choir music. Pastor John Brigham will be with us, as the guest minister, to preach a Resurrection message! Tentatively, we have scheduled an Easter Buffet Breakfast from 9:00 to 10:00 am and an Easter Egg Hunt around 12:15 pm. These two events will not be held if the virus is still the threat that it is now. We will be in communication with you on this issue. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. God bless you.

Sincerely in Christ,

FBC Staff and Board of Trustees
